You can manually order your bombers to detonate a nuke into a patch of Ocean. It's much like Starcraft in that the single player is a bit lacking (AI will never be as fun as another person) whereas the multiplayer can keep you playing for ages. Having not touched the game for 4 years I don't know how the multiplayer community is holding up. In the end, there is no winner in a nuclear showdown, only the side that lost less.
